The Playground

Hello, welcome to the Playground. There are several worlds for your characters to explore and make your own stories.   Akuri Islands, Mists of Eternity - A spiritual archipelago with dynasties ruled by dragons, demons, elementals, and spirits. The natural order they maintain is always at odds with mortal machinations.   Exalt, Towards Tomorrow - An artificial island raised from the seafloor through magical means. The guilds that call it home dedicate their efforts to advancing magic and science together, both simply different means towards innovation. Their inventions are powered by a refined resource known as Quari. The island is governed and funded by influential families and powerful unions, all with their own schemes and agendas.   Fofthjaard, Blood on the Ice - Thunderous clashing steel, deep old magic, harrowing blizzards. The land runs with magic through runes and leylines left behind by the giants that once walked it. The settlers in the bountiful southern valleys and fjords are in regular conflict with the creeping winter. Small brave towns huddle together in the shelter of looming mountains in the frozen tundra.   Gerobis, Shadows of Civilization - Long shadows, urban fantasy, low magic. Creatures of the night prowl the outskirts of cities and towns. Nations are still reeling from a war that broke out decades ago. Tensions are rising as no one feels safe anywhere.   Kiar Euras, Playground of the Gods - Divided into three major regions, the gods participate in the world just as much as their worshippers (and non-believers) do.   Har'oloth, The World Below - A magical apocalypse ravaged the surface centuries ago, rendering the world uninhabitable. Those who lived in the depths of the earth are the only ones who remain. Aberrant fishfolk create gods on the daily, a glowing mushroom on the cavern walls can suddenly jump to life, spidery nightmares stalk prey from harsh stalactites. Mortals who find themselves calling this place home are either insane or have no other choice.   If these worlds don't work for you then let's make a new one!
