Often, people will run their hand/fingers along its glyph-engraved outer walls. This is believed to bring luck in mental recovery/wellbeing.

Architecture

A thin tower that spirals around itself up to a point, above which, floats a ball of soft light

History

When the people knew they were losing their mental stability, they built it as an "upward spiral". They wanted to help themselves with it. They then realised it wouldn't and that it itself was a product of insanity and so abandoned it. It was later found and cared for by people who thought it was nice.
