Setup

Through various circumstances, the members of what would eventually be the crew of The Nevander have met and made friends with each other over the last decade. Growing closer, further apart, into enemies, then back into friends over their long associations, they all come to the realization that they want off Nar Shaddaa.   Booking passage on a ship in Port City is an option, but they're in Hutt Space, unless you know a ship captain you can't trust them not to put two blaster bolts into the back of your head once you break gravity and vent you through the airlock.   So getting their own ship is the only option. Through various backroom deals, shady arrangements, bribes, blackmails, and some honest inquiry, the crew has been able to scroung up $50,00 credits in order to purchase a ship, The Nevander.   Unfortunately for them, The Nevander has been berthed in Dock D for thirty years, its captain and crew long dead. This left the ship free for the pickings, and many a salvage crew over the years have taken what they wanted from the ship, leaving only the chasis and hope. It's only after their own credits have changed hands that the newly formed crew realize this, locking them into having to find around $100,000 credits in order to get the old ship spaceworthy once more.   Let's see how they do.
