Thongweave

When Iron Face’s Smiths discovered how to add more items to a single armor piece, armor to item size ratio started mattering more than how much and original items armor value’s was. Naturally female armor sets became much more highly prized when it came to smithing supplies because while they covered less, they still had the same armor value as the armor’s male version. By using the process of reducing armor down to its elements then layering them as tightly as they could the Iron Face’s Smiths were able to make armor of such monstrously high defense that it propelled them into a seat of power in Horsethief and Horsethief into its dominance in the Realms today. Considered to be the most pure and legendary of these armors is Thongweave as it was made purely from the thongs of an especially high level female version of armor that was also the most revealing.
