Swimming Rule

Areas that have the Swimming Rule in effect allow areas with water to be swam in, otherwise entering water results in an instant death. Water based weapons are far more effective in areas that does not have the Swimming Rule active but there are also some weapons that can only be used in an areas with the Swimming Rule active. There are multiple variations of the Swimming Rule that can be generated by a Rule Generator: the higher range version simply makes all water within the generator field range swimmable, the low range version of the Rule makes everything in the generator field range underwater.   The energy cost of generation for this Rule by a Rule Generator is High (Ultra High for the Low Range variation)   INSPIRATION: This Rule was inspired by the strange logic employed by differing games where in some the player and characters can swim and in others water is little more than a death trap that kills anything that enters it.
