Basic Information
Anatomy
Mountain Tigers are vertebrates with a spine that runs through the end of their tail. A large four limbed mammal, the mountain cat is largely indestinguishable from a standard tiger. The only physical difference is a darker stripe, slightly larger and longer lifespan.
Growth Rate & Stages
When a Mountain Tiger enters Young Adult stage they undergo a second puperty where they become very sedentry for about a month. During this time they are very vulnerable to attack. Those that survive now possess a higher then human level intelligence. They will also pair bond with other species they deem worthy.
Ecology and Habitats
Unless specialized circulstances occur, Bahadur being one, the Mountain Tigers stay within the confines of the Bitterbite Mountains.

Social Structure
Solitary creatures, the Mountain Tiger only interacts with others of it's species to Mate, raise the young and if any find a young adult undergoing it's metamorphosis then they will post guard. They will offer no harm to slumbering Mountain Tiger and work together in highly effective pack tactics to drive off any potential threat.
Average Intelligence
Those that survive are equivalent to particularly bright human of middle twenty years of age
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
A Tiger has excellent night vision due to the higher concentration of rod cells in their retinas than cone cells, making them exceptionally perceptive in low light situations and when percieving movement. A Mountain Tiger has an even denseer concnetration of rod cells. Where a standard tiger can see about six times better then a human, a Mountain Tiger can see about ten times better.
Civilization and Culture
History
The Order of Dawn had great cats as companions. Though these mythical beasts died out long ago, some of them mated with Tigers during the time of the Kingdom of Favel. The progeny evolved into the Mountain Tiger that came to inhabit what became known as the Bitterbite Mountains.
