Every region has some variation of the legend. Many a noble quest was started to seek out a lost vial of Dawn's Grace or to even discover it's recipe. Some of these have become legends in their own right.
Variations & Mutation
More modern versions speak of lone individuals who are descendents of the Order of Dawn. They roam the world looking for those demon possessed. They are said to have the secret of making Dawn's Grace in order to save only the most deserving of the afflicted. Many a charlatan has cashed in on this.
Cultural Reception
Most people accept that there more then likely was a magical potion to banish demons in ancient times very few believe such an elixir still exists today. But still the legend persists and those in need will cling to any hope, even a hushed, whispered tale around the fire.
In Literature
The earliest known literary reference was in "Rise and Fall of the Kingdom of Favel" written in the 35 century BF. Other notabale literaty sources include Annals of the Practice of the Greater Lore by Mikel Silverlight and Buvial's "Historical Sifting of Myth". In addition numerous works of fiction over the millenia has used Dawn's Grace as a plot device. The most popular was the play "Demia's Journey" written by the Imperial Court Playwright Huliwe in 936 BF
