Penny Trove
Purpose / Function
The Penny Trove is Ubersreik's Chapter House of the Venator's League. All members of the Venators League can find help in Ubersreik if the arrive and show their crest. The tavern also attracts a fair amount of patron due to the number of people who have interesting stories to tell whether you want to hear them or not.
Alterations
Every since Pagni has owned the tavern he adds something new to the tavern every year causing the tavern to not have a single style as everything is purchased or acquired based on cost rather than style.
Architecture
The building has an earthen floor with wooden walls set on the first two feet being stone. The ceiling is a wooden vaulted ceiling with rafters crossing and makeshift iron chandeliers hanging down that light the building. There are windows unevenly scattered among the walls and shutters that remain open most days.
History
The building was just a burned out husk with stone foundations for the walls and dirt washed in from the river rising high. Pagni arrived in Ubersreik to start his own tavern and purchased the land even though it does flood during the heavy rains. Pagni made a deal with Venators League to start the chapter in Ubersreik and they would give him an interest free loan to build the tavern. Ever since 2480 he has run the Penny Trove as bastion of equality of the classes where everyone gets treated the same and place where people can gather to tell tall tales of adventures.
