With a great rumbling and and shaking of the ground, something unexpected happens: The lands to the south of the desert, inhabited mostly by the race of mages shatters into peaces and is swept away into the open ocean.

At the end of the Long Peace stands the destruction of the homeland of the mages . It was something that hardly anyone expected. But for their own good, the mages had been prepared for if, even if so unknowing. Their many protective spells kept the land and all its inhabitants from beeing utterly destroyed, as had been the devil´s plan. For of course it had been him, casting the horrible magic ment to tear apart the land and its people. Only by great effort and planning could he achieve such a thing.
And yet the worst was evaded for most of the mages survived. Still they now are spread over a number of islands floating across the ocean as the devil releases is hords of demons on the other races.
