Pudarogi

In late 2019 Vol, the volcano on the western half of Pudarog exploded. Due to fortuitous circumstances, most of the island's population escaped unharmed. But rockflows scraped off half their infrastructure and a thick layer of ash buried the rest. Although the island's habitats have returned to life, the Pudarogi themselves remain scattered throughout the Cluster Islands and local ocean.  

Dispersion

Although the eruption was unexpected, it wasn't without warning. The Dissolvers had information of Unity activity concerning Pudarog and sent several boats to help anyone who wanted to evacuate the island. These were mostly residents on the east half, the side the Dissolvers could most easily reach.   As soon as news reached Zaiyev of the eruption, Salibret dispatched a rescue fleet. These boats concentrated on reaching the affected population on the west. The Varenagos boats distributed evacuees around the main Cluster Islands: Mraydor, Galtern, Zaiyev, and the Three Companions. The Dissolvers took their passengers to outlying islands such as Scaetra, Aktergea, and Jihtaci.   Many Pudarogi opted to join the Dissolvers in their fight against the Unity. They remained with the fleet until the successful attack on Mraydor. Considering their objective accomplished, they left the Dissolvers and either found homes on islands or took tetherless status and continued to make a living as cargo or passenger carriers. They don't consider themselves Tideriders, even though their current generation is growing up entirely at sea.
