    Imperial Gala
    Disaster / Destruction

For their service, Prince Karl Franz, who is administering Ubersreik at the time, invites the group to a Gala event on good reference from Captain Pfeffer. He gives the group a number of gifts at this event, knighting Leopold, giving Wolfgang a Grass Crown, promising aid to Pieter's burgeoning fiefdom, giving Gretchen a metal arm, and Rudi surgeon's tools. Unfortunately, a day prior, Wolfgang had to get his suit express made. He went to a place of ill repute, where he told them that he was to see Franz at a certain time in a certain area.   These rakes took that knowledge, and the Gala was attacked. Leopold nearly died, only by sheer luck rolling on his side to stop the bleeding. And unfortunate time. The party was quickly ushered out of the town on fear of further assassination attempts, which at the time was unknown if it was from former Watchmen ejected by the purge or more politically motivated operators. They moved to Aschaffen.

    Trial of Gretchen
    Criminal Activity

The party waits as Gretchen trials, they meet a student from Altdorf as Pieter goes to research Beastmen, bringing his brass axe. The student seems to be unusually candid for an Altdorfer, and brings up that he is looking to leave the city for a life of adventure. He brings up that he is also a petty magic wielder, and would be more than willing to testify on Gretchen's behalf. The party gladly welcomes this, and continues to explore the city, getting involved in the intrigue that is common within Altdorf. Wolfgang one drunken night accidentally stumbles into the night market and purchases a deed to a Stirlander town for a petty sum.   The trial happens, College of Grey & Temple of Sigmar vs Gretchen Blech. The head of the Grey College steps in to mediate on Gretchen's behalf, having previously taken a liking to her. She is let go on all charges, though told to pay the overdue guild fines totalling 75 gc.
