Humans First Inhabit Oregon

Meanwhile, in the surface world, a population of humans travel to Oregon and inhabit the area surrounding Netarts Bay. It is unknown if sightings of the Gatekeepers took place before Netarts Valley was founded, or in a nearby area. The fact that so many sightings have happened in this area leads to the idea there is something special about the land itself, or its inhabitants. Or, it was a simple coincidence that the first sightings happened when and where they did.
