Consejero Modelo III "Bio"
The Consejero Modelo III, often called the Consejero Bio is the third major iteration of the Consejero Project’s foray into advisor androids. While previous iterations were traditional androids, the Modelo III is a Biological Robot, a particularly advanced one that uses slightly less advanced, but much more easily scalable methods and technologies developed by the Dora Project to “print” a bioroid of nearly incomparable resemblance to natural beings. The Consejero Modelo III has only been put into production within the past decade, and therefore relatively few examples of it exist, with roughly one hundred thousand having been produced so far, most in service with Cincastrella's Surveyor Corps and Diplomatic Service.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The Consejero Modelo III is a biological robot designed in the likeness of a Terran or Neohuman sophont. This means that a biobot of this type is essentially an artificially created human in almost every respect, and follows a human body plan fairly closely. This means that, at least upon their "birth" every Consejero has two arms, two legs, and a head. The only non-organic component in their body is the their cybernetic brain, which is virtually undetectable, even by psionically gifted individuals. Consejero Modelo III biobots are engineered to be physically gifted For the Consejero project, CECIR favored genetic templates from residents of the Villa system, meaning that in terms of physical appearance, Consejero Modelo III lean towards phenotypes with bronze skin, dark hair, and brown eyes.
Manufacturing process
The Consejero Modelo III is produced using a novel method discovered in the 4460s by xenoarchaeologists in the Utopia System. This method known as bioprinting, allows CECIR to produce this model of biobot in a fabricator "printing" the entire bot from scratch. A traditionally manufactured brain is than inserted into the skull of the robot. The method of bioprinting used by CECIR for the Consejero is relatively streamlined allowing dozens to perhaps a hundred models to be made in a single day. However, like most of CECIR's more advanced products, the Consejero Modelo III is largely manufactured on demand.
