Consejero Modelo II "Amistad"
The Consejero Modelo II is a model of Cincastrellan android produced by CECIR. It was commissioned by the Cincastrellan government as part of its involvement with the Mutual Development and Assistance Pact, as an android capable of being inserted into resistance movements or young revolutionary governments and providing strategic, economic, or technical advice. Since the intial run, the Modelo II was entered the public market with several hundred thousand, possibly a few million having been produced, and its production only being slowed somewhat by the unveiling of the much cheaper Modelo III Bioroid.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The Consejero Modelo II is a more advanced development of the Modelo I. While the the Modelo I was focused on general advisorship, the Modelo II was also designed to be a convincing infiltrator, detectable as a robot only by psionically gifted individuals. It possesses an RTG generator, and self repair capabilities that allows the Consejero Modelo II to operate without supervision for years at a time, and an extremely advanced robot brain. Consejero Modelo IIs are extremely intelligent, and can be programmed with a wide array of skills, though these androids are also capable of learning in the traditional way relatively easily.
Manufacturing process
The Consejero Modelo II is a relatively difficult to manufacture android. Even with some of the most advanced robotics laboratories known to exist in the galaxy, several components require traditional assembly at least in the closing phases. The brain especially requires traditional manufacturing and careful programming. The whole process requires considerable effort even with fabrication machines, and production of the Modelo II peaked at roughly five hundred per day.
