Aventura't Probot
The Aventura’t is a model of advanced probe robot that has entered service with the Cincastrella Confederacy’s Surveyor Service and other allied organizations, as well as being sold on the open market in small numbers. Essentially an advanced version of the probe bots and probe drones found throughout the galaxy, it has much of the same function, but can perform its duties considerably more quickly and effectively. The Aventura´t has been produced in large numbers and production has been increasing in recent years, though it is still not enough to meet the demand on the market. As a result, the Aventura’t is not especially common despite its high regard.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The Aventura’t is designed in a similar manner to most probe robots which themselves are based upon the venerable Probe Drones originally developed during the First and Second Expansions. This means it has a roughly cylindrical chassis with a powerful propulsor, and a pair of small manipulator arms. Like all probe drones and probots it has a robust sensor suite, and like probots it has the ability to independently carry out scientific surveys to some extent while still maintaining the capacity to gather small amounts of scientific samples for future study. The Aventura’t itself uses a gravitic propulsor. It has enhanced environmental resistances, and a highly advanced brain, making it extremely capable, moreso than most average scientists, at carrying out short term studies of alien worlds.
Manufacturing process
The Aventura’t is produced exclusively by CECIR in their primary Nueva Catalunya manufacturing center. Like all CECIR bots, its materials are complex and even the advanced fabricators of CECIR cannot fab all components with the brain in particular needing to be produced using traditional methods. The Aventura’t undergoes final assembly by hand. A few hundred Aventura’t can be produced per day using CECIR’s methods, and production has been slowly upscaling in recent years.
