Amir Tandi

Amir Tandi was a psion from the Centauri Republic, who was preternaturally gifted, becoming one of the most powerful psions known in the galaxy. After his death his genome was donated to Centauri authorities which used it as the basis of their cloning program that would go on to be the foundation of the Stormcrow project. Amir was born shortly after the founding of the Republic to a family that had immigrated to the region during the Jred Scourge. Subjected to an infection from Jred spores, many members of this family had their minds altered by the gene altering process before most family members could get gene stabilization procedures to limit the damage further. As a result, many members of the family were powerful psions and Amir was no different. Shortly after birth, Amir demonstrated considerable psionic potential, and was taken by the Republic for their Psi Commando program

After being graduated into the program, Amir had an extensive career as one of the Republic's greatest psionic warriors, becoming famous within the Republic. Eventually however, this fame became a detriment to the operations that he would participate in and he was retired, going on to become a politician in the Republic, serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputes. After suffering from an aneurysm, he passed away. His genome however was seized and recorded by Republican authorities. After that Amir's genes formed the basis of countless clones that formed the nucleus of the Stormcrow program, and he became the genefather to millions of offspring.
