A group of Apes were subject to multiple tests, these tests were based on recent genetic modification breakthroughs, someone had found a way to genetically modify humans. The logical choice was to test these new sciences on apes, similar genes to humans. The results of these tests were astounding, but not what was planned. Rather than adapting for thousands of years like humans have, these apes transformed into fully function humans within 2 months, they acted like apes in human bodies and brains, still using primitive forms of language. This freaked the scientists out so the project was cancelled and the scientists returned to earth. Unbeknownst to them, the apes continued to evolve into super humans over the next 2 months, their distinctly vibrant irises now showing beautiful colors. The super humans (now called Chroma plus) expanded the Titian Colony into a bustling city and multiplied quite quickly.
