Vonlo
Vonlo is the god of chaos and magic. Unlike his previous counterpart, Drarona, he believes that all are part of the elemental chaos that spawned creation and deserve to practice in the magic that created them. Because of this, those that are dark at heart often follow Vonlo, as Drarona doesn't approve of them. Vonlo tends to have followers that are more inclined to use their magical abilities towards evil or selfish purpose. These individuals can tell you of the injustice towards Vonlo in the times leading up to The Divide.
Although there are various accounts of what happened, depending on which faction you ask, the general consensus is that Vonlo was asked by Atmos to give the shadow realm people access to light element magic. The difference in opinion is what happened after Vonlo was approached by Atmos. The passionate followers of Vonlo will tell you that, even though Vonlo believes in equal magical sources for all, he had not even made a decision on the matter before Dryara punished him. She placed a binding command on Vonlo, prohibiting him from ever giving any Shadow touched control over Light magic. And Vonlo's power was unfairly bound because of Dryara's personal opinions. She forced her views upon Vonlo, even though he didn't have the opportunity to voice his own.
During the battle that led up to The Divide, Vonlo sat back and observed the chaos caused by Dryara's decision, to limit the shadow and light realms. He had come to believe that the two realms had proven their worth, even by teaching the other realms. None of the other realms where restricted, but the light and shadow developed at a faster rate and where punished for it. He respected and understood the chaotic nature of the elements. He loved each of the realms for how unique they were. Each realm embodied certain chaotic elements tied to their element and was so different from one another. It was because of this greater understanding of the realms' people and because what Dryara did to him, that he decided to turn against her and join Zalmir (previously known as Atmos).
After The Divide Vonlo gained many followers that believed in his principles, that magic belongs to all, whatever their nature. He has worshippers from all the races, both sages and master practitioners of magic. These followers often value the freedom of using magic, while not being tied to a specific ideal.
