Tiefling
During The Rupture many dark beings escaped into the world and in an effort to survive certain human families made pacts with these beings, fusing their bloodline with them.
The children of these humans became tieflings, born with features a mix between the being their forefathers made the pact with and human.
Since not all of the dark beings that made these pacts are the same, there are great variations in tieflings.
Many people are suspicious of tieflings, assuming sharing a bloodline with a being from the void makes them naturally evil as well.

Biological Traits
Tieflings reach adulthood around the same age as humans. Their bloodline traits usually start manifesting around the age of 6.

Facial characteristics
Certain tieflings have horns that curl like a ram's, others have straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, and some spiral upward like an antelopes’ horns. There are tieflings that do not have horns at all, but some other inhuman quality.
Most of them also have thick tails, four to five feet long, which lash or coil around their legs when they get upset or nervous.
Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and their eyes are solid colors—black, red, white, silver, or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tones cover the full range of human coloration, but also include various shades of red.
Their hair, cascading down from behind their horns, is usually dark, from black or brown to dark red, blue, or purple.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Tieflings that don't stay in their origin communities tend to flock to the bigger capitals, where they can blend in with the various other races that dwell there. They feel most welcome in the capitals and countries that welcome darker races though, since the more traditional folk tend to be very suspicious of them.

Depending on what their bloodline is fuse with, tieflings can have a bigger than average build, or a slender one.
They are almost always taller than most the common races though.
