Other Languages

Below is a list of less common languages that can be found within the world:

Deep Speech

Within the depths of places no normal person dare venture, lurk aberrations that would test the limits of any mortal mind. These creatures come in a variety of forms, and it is said that the some of the biggest will even bring fear into the heart of the great dragons that are said to wonder the Prime Rift areas.

Draconic

The language of dragons and their kin, and those who worship them. Some of the oldest of ancient texts discovered within all the known realms are written in draconic, alongside Primordial. The language spoken by dragons and all dragon kind. It is very rare to come across it in the cities, since dragon spawn don't generall dwell in these places. However, there are occassions where a drake or wyrmling would step out of a random rift spawn. Some scholars that have a passion for all things dragon related will make an effort to pick up the language.
Draconic was a language of hard consonants and sibilants that usually sounded like hissing when spoken, like sj, ss, and sv. It also included a sound similar to a creature clearing its throat, ach. Draconic words were emphasized on the first syllable, and speakers of Draconic expressed important ideas by stressing the beginnings and the ends of words. Dragons often used this when referring to themselves, or when they wanted to command, warn, threaten, or otherwise make their point clear.

Sylvan

The language of Fae creatures that are native to Lumin. Some of these creatures came into the world after The Rupture, and a few still slip through a temporary rift to this day.
