Eeriedale North Zone Districts

Even though each zone has a residential area, every district has residents, along with shops and businesses. The below descriptions serve to show the major aspects the districts are known for.

1. Eden

Named Eden because it houses the northern red light district and erotic V-Dream stations. Each entertainer within the area is lead by a hosti (host or hostess), which protects their business aggresively. Each will often employ mercenaries or gangs to protect their workers or send a mesage to the competition when necessary. Because of this, living in this area can often be a combination of extreme violence and pleasure.

2. Harbour

Everyone calls this area the harbour because Eerie harbour is located here. Even though the harbour doesn't take up the entire district, freight owners and harbour workers often live in this area to be close to their place of work. Due to the fact that most smugglers prefer to use North Port, rather than the main harbour, this area tend to be one of the saver ones in North Eeriedale. Also one of the few ones with a more legitimate cash flow.

3. Mech Alley

This area is called Mech Alley because of number or mechanical type shops located in it. These shops include: auto repair shops, cybernetic repair shops, ripper docs, weapons and armor supply shops, AI suppliers, V-Dream Stations and Tech stores. Many of the goods supplied in this area are stolen, pirated or second hand, but some of the shops have reputable installers that know what they are doing. You just need to know where to go.

4. North Port

North Port is known for its smugglers and illegal imports. Many gang members use this port, rather than the main harbour, to bring in their drugs and other illegal goods.
The EDPD is well aware of this criminal hotspot but don't often intervene with the business of North Port. This is due to two reasons, many of the EDPD officers are in the pockets on one or more organisations and even they make use of the port at times. Anyone who wants to bring something in or take something out of Eeriedale and avoid a paper trail, this is the port where you do it. North Port also has apartments, mainly lower class, and very dodgy hangouts.

5. North Shole

The main residential area of Northern Eeriedale is not the best place to live. There are only a few good streets, where the rich can look down on the suffering of the poor from their posh homes. Cramped apartments house many residents and previously condemned buildings are still being used as shelter by gangs and homeless people. Due to the state of this districts, many residients started calling it Shole, short for Shit hole.

6. Nortpoint Park

The only piece of land in the entire Eeriedale that actually contains groups of trees, and it is in one of the worst districts. Surprisingly, though, the locals seem to respect this park enough not to vandalize it and use the wood for fire during the cold nights. Some say this is because those that do dare destroy even a single branch or flower, will suffer a horrible curse for the rest of their days. This has of course not officialy been proven, but there are people that will tell you their story if you are willing to listen.

7. Point Carnage

Point Carnage is home to the Carnage Colosseum. Contestants fight in this arena to win fame, glory and money. Many people that enter are looking for a better life, some enter because they like killing. The fights vary in nature, one on one, group vs group, man vs beast. Your chances are slim for survival but at least you won't die alone. No, thousands of spectators will witness your glorious demise.
Point Carnage also has many combat training centres, apartments and shops.

8. Red Market

Many people turn to the black market when they want illegal cybernetics and other tech. The Red Market, however, is known for more ... organic ... items. Slaves, poisons, blood donors and organs are only some of the items you can expect to buy here. Everyone knows the market is in this district, and thus over time it got the name. Only some people know exactly where it is within the district, though.
The Red Market is hidden within the seemingly ordinary buildings of shops and apartments. Some say it moves every month, some say shop owners use a secret language to trade their back shelf items and others say it is hidden somewhere underground. Only those who know can tell you, and they don't just tell anybody.

9. Sin Spring

This is the largest district in Northern Eeriedale. The Northern area's main entertainment and business district. Clubs, restaurants, casinos, theatres and other recreational places fill this district. Sin Spring is also known as the drug district, every gang has at least a handful of runners operating within. There are even some establishments that would serve you your drug of choice, as part of their services. You just need to know where to go, and which menu to ask for.
These places are so heavily protected by gangs and mercenaries that the EDPD would rather not risk a street war by going after them.
