Following the devastating skirmish during the Battle of Four Tree Hill , all that remained of the The Carthinian Union's offensive forces was their Imperial Navy, which was stationed outside the coastal settlement of Glimmerpoint.

Following one particularly thunderous day, the entire fleet was found to be decimated by a seemingly unknown force.

(It was later assumed to be 'Blaga', a monstrous sea-snake that was later killed during Reconstruction Period)
