Lucifer
Lucifer - known also as the Peacock God, the Deceitful One, and the Lie of Truth - was one of the twelve Dark Lords that governed the multiverse before Mankind, and a source of all dark-themed magic. Very little is known about this mysterious entity, due to its own nature as de facto a self-aware, reality-warping illusion. Mankind has managed to exploit its contradictory nature against him, in the end.
Physical Description
Body Features
It is unknown how Lucifer actually looks like. The Dark Lords and the most powerful of their servitors appear significantly more aligned with the human minds - with, for example, Lucifer and his servants appearing falsely angelic - however it is not their ACTUAL look. It's just a self-censorship that human minds enforce upon themselves, seeing them as the closest approximation that they could handle.
In case of Lucifer it's even more complicated. He appeared as a being of light and beauty, approximately ten meters in height, with every person seeing him as the manifestation of their concept of 'beauty'. As a result, reports on his form were greatly varied. The problem is, it was little more than a glamour. An illusion so real that it could be physically interacted with (crossing the bridge between illusion and reality warping). No one knows how Lucifer exactly looked like, however the transformation of Gehenna from a lovely realm of light to a hellish and volcanic abyss of darkness might be a clue.
Special abilities
Lucifer was capable of weaving illusions on an unimagineable scale, most of them so real that they could be touched. In fact, after his death it was discovered that even the shining golden bridges over various chasms of Gehenna were actually illusions, despite humans sending entire tank divisions over them. Before dying, he was able to charm thousands of soldiers to switch to his side. In fact his illusions were so potent that majority of his attacks were simply unable to be seen or analyzed - soldiers attacking him simply died, crushed, slashed or unmade in an instant, with not indication of what was happening.

Personal history
Gehenna during Lucifer's reign was a vibrant paradise of light and pleasant wildlife (that still tried to kill you, just looked cute and cuddly while doing so - and could easily charm you into doing the killing for yourself). It was, however, an illusion - just one particularly real. The actual realm was one of darkness and fire, suggesting that perhaps the Lucifer himself was just as much of an illusion.
He was among the first Dark Lords to be eliminated. His illusions slash reality warping was as much of an advantage as it was a weakspot. Mankind has exploted its newly developed metaweaponry, weapons capable of altering Reality itself. When unleashed upon an entity that was a sentient ripple in the fabric of reality itself, they turned out to be exceptionally potent. After detonation of multiple reality-warping warheads around Pandemonium itself, Lucifer's grip on his illusions waned, revealing the ugly truth behind his realm.
What exactly happened to Lucifer himself following the battle for Pandaemonium remains unknown, but he was considered eliminated after this point. His servitor legions dwindled and ceased to exist soon after, death of their overlord weakening them massively.
