Leviathan
Leviathan - known also as the Sleeper in Dreams, Serpent of Thoughts and the Lord Beneath Water - was one of the twelve Dark Lords that governed the multiverse before Mankind, and a source of all sea-themed magic.
Nothing is known about his origin, and while not exactly powerful by the Dark Lord standards, his abilities were considered to be among the weirdest ones. He was eventually slain when his pecularities were exploited against him, which allowed Mankind to avoid long and gruelling campaing in environment that they weren't prepared for.
Physical Description
Body Features
It is unknown how Leviathan actually looks like. The Dark Lords and the most powerful of their servitors appear significantly more aligned with the human minds - with, for example, Leviathan and his servants having dominant naval and dreaming themes - however it is not their ACTUAL look. It's just a self-censorship that human minds enforce upon themselves, seeing them as the closest approximation that they could handle.
The Leviathan's 'false look' made him appear as sea serpent capable of altering his own size (from 100km to 100 meters, at last judging from his smallest and largest manifestations recorded). Description of his colour, skin texture, scales, existence (or not) of fins etc. are greatly varied between observers. As a result, details are unknown.
Special abilities
Leviathan was capable of swimming not only through water, but also through dreams of the sapient creatures. If he managed to devour you in your dreams, you woke up - only to immediately disappear from Reality, leaving a gaping hole through which the Sleeper in Dreams emerged. He sank numerous submarines and other ships by doing that inside them, and both flooding the insides and rampging through them, devouring (this time physically) everything aboard them.
In combat he could not only use his jaws (capable of easily snapping a submarine in half), but also manipulate water pressure (it was best described as hypermassive 'depth charges', but he could also form them into a variety of shapes, for example to slice a ship in half). His second most feared ability was the fact that he could - in certain circumstances - steal ideas from minds of the sleepers, and manifest them in reality. Majority of the human invasion on Loqua made them face against ships and humans copied from their dreams.

Personal history
Nothing is known about his pre-Great Multiversal War history. When his own realm got invaded, he fight back by devouring (or copying) ships and people, which managed to buy him approximately a year. When Mankind understood his intrinsic connection to the dreams, it has developed a counterplan - all humans (save for one, scheduled for execution for an unrelated crime) in Loqua were kept awake simultaneously.
When Leviathan devoured the single remaining sleeper in his realm and emerged from his body, he discovered that he was isolated in a foldspace filled to the brim with numerous nuclear weapons. Their detonation evaporated all water in this realm - while weakening Leviathan himself. With no dream to escape through, he was forced to do so physically - only to discover himself within another, bigger foldspace, with even more explosions. It is said that he managed to fight his way through seven foldspaces before perishing, with two more to go before him.
