Void Gods
Gods of the Void
When the One gave birth to the Multiverse, and created the Divine Principles, the void, ever the One's opposite, gave birth to the void gods, they are the only beings ever to emerge from it unassisted, and they would forever seek to take over the shards of the One. Each of the void gods has a One-Born Posi-twin, a bright sibling.Chronos
God of TimeChronos is the anti-twin to the Divine Principle of Time.
People who live on shards, sometimes learn how to call upon Chronos, using his power to defy time. Without his power, people may be able to stretch time, slow it down, or even pause it entirely, but never travel backward or forward. Chronos allows people to mess with time, to some degree. Chronos exists within the void, and cannot enter anywhere, where the sources power rules, but he can extend his influence to sentient people. In the void, it is said that time stops, that infinite time is experienced in an instant, in reality, this feeling is the presence of Chronos. History
The elves of the world of Zayne, when losing the great war against the humans, in their desperation called on Chronos, this worked at first, but they abused his power, causing the seas of their world to rise to unprecedented levels, and they were driven from their world entirely by the humans. The Witches of the world of Emina draw some of their power from Chronos, they use it sparingly tho, as they know the cost of pledging once self to a void god. Chronos owns all periods outside of Time, which he calls Chronotia
Ekov
Goddess of SentienceEkov is the anti-twin to the Divine Principle of Contemplation
She came into existence as Contemplations opposite and therefore she seeks to oppose her at every opportunity. The world of Titan
She is responsible for the occupation of the world of Titan, a once regular shard like any other, which is now the multiverse's most void-infested shard, and from it, many strange creatures come forth into reality. All these beings are called Titans, and many worlds suffer from titanic invasions, each with different types of titans threatening their existence. Titan himself, once a lively god, a sentence shard, perhaps one of contemplation's proudest creations, was shattered by Ekov, and his remains were scattered across the multiverse.
Kaos
God of OrderKaos is the anti-twin to the Divine Principle of Corn
If Corn is the guardian of order, Kaos is the leader of insurgents, he is the main opponent of order, he is responsible for creating many tears in space and time, allowing for the followers of Kaos to pass through, or anyone else. Kaos is known to help people travel across the void, between shards, in return for doing him certain special favors. This power to break the boundaries of shards is unique to him, but he cannot use it too recklessly, lest he incur the wrath of Corn
Absence
The God of Space and Matter.Absence is the void twin to the divine principle of Presence.
Absence is the essence of the void, which is core to its nothingness. Absence is the feeling of emptiness people get when traveling in the void. He makes the lack of space and substance that is so typical there. By itself, the void doesn't consume matter tho, that is a property of Absence. He takes matter it makes it cease to be, therefore destroying a tiny piece of the One's power, one little piece may seem insignificant, but absence knows, that many little insignificant pieces, eventually start to make a difference, and therefore it is he who is one of the One's greatest enemies. However, Corn is vigilant and doesn't let him consume unchallenged. Not the mention the backlash he would get from Presence, who wouldn't sit idly by, as his substance is destroyed.
Nihilus
Goddess of Spirit.Nihilus is the void twin to the divine principle of Vitality.
Where Vitality is she who gave life to the lifeless, Nihilus seeks to bring that life to its knees, to make them nothing. She seeks not to end life, but to corrupt it, to strip it from its life and essence, and make it nothing more than moving matter.
Void Relations
All the void gods have to work together to achieve their goals, and each of them plays a different role in this collaboration. Chronos is by far the most solitary of the void gods, he most tends to his realm, Chronotia, and aids his followers in disrupting the One's chronology.Ekov is the voids great mastermind, she is the one who stepped into a sahrd, and kept it, thus becoming the primary engine of void corruption across the multiverse.
Kaos is the voids insurgent, and for all Ekov's greatness, she would have gotten nowhere without Kaos' gates to enter the One's domains.
Absence is, like Chronos, a rather solitary god. He opposes Ekov's desire for domination over the One, with his goal of wanton destruction, so he isn't particularly involved in their plans, which he doesn't mind, because most of his focus is on finding something to consume.
Nihilus on the other hand, is most involved, she is the void god who is most specialized in the creation and manipulation of living beings, she appeals to Ekovs desire to destroy Contemplation's sentience, and at the same time, she gets to destroy the rest of Vitalities beings as well. She is the one who created most of the titans, all with the aid and supervision of Ekov.
