SaltSoak/SaltRime
Have you tried the brews that come out of Cincinni? Didn't think you could get anything useful out of sea salt, but they've certainly delivered! This stuff's good for SaltSoak-they keep a keg of it on ships that are out at sea for months. I've heard tell that even a mug of it is refreshing after a day in the hot sun. The ships that take this stuff eastward have to fight sometimes to keep the cargo from being raided! And they've got different flavors, at that! Must be thanks to those old mechanicals they uncovered. I didn't think lime and salt would mix together that well.GrewiBrew is the specialty of the McGrewi Brewi Co., based in the coastal town of Cincini. Infused with the sea salt that Cincini is known for, the brew serves to revitalize sailors and salt-workers along the coast, giving them SaltSoak. SaltSoaked sailors are more resistant to exhaustion, allowing them to work for longer in the long summer suns. Counterpoint to the SaltSoak is the SaltRime; The condition those workers who find themselves outside during the long summer days become afflicted with if they are careless. The body loses energy, the skin growing cold and clammy while the head grows dizzy and aches. A man inflicted with SaltRime, if not addressed promptly, will find themselves on the edge of total collapse, possibly even death if there is no one nearby. While a man can drink a Brew and temporarily be filled with SaltSoak, they will still need to find a place to recover from the sun exposure, and send someone to seek a doctor's aid. While you would be hard pressed to find a sailor who doesn't swear by McGrewi's crafts in Cincinni, the name is not as known yet on the eastern seaboard. The cooler ocean air that blows westward, save for the lowest parts of Shimshar, mean that workers along the coast do not face the same oppresive heat and humidity of their Cincini cousins. The drink has, however, found popularity with a few sports teams along the coast. Some have even gone as far as reaching out for an 'exclusivity' deal with the distant brewer.

Nice that they have something that helps workers stay safe, and comes in so many fun flavors! I'm particularly curious what Hurricane Half-pint tastes like.
