The Sundered

The Sundered are a nomadic people, largely populating the farlands of Tellus. Before the Cosmic Sundering the Sundered, known then as Haruspare, were an established nation, settled on a landmass off of the western coast of Bolutar.   Ancient History Haruspare was a coastal nation, known for their powerful navy and warrior culture, springing into full power at around the same time as the rise of the Karathusian kingdom.    Modern Day In the modern day, the Sundered retain their fierce warrior culture, though with no lands to call their home, they instead make their living out on the seas, with small settlements on islands and coastal areas. They still hold resentment over the mainland nations, for their trifling conflict which caused the Cosmic Sundering, destroying the home of the Haruspare and condemning them to their sea-born fate. They now stalk the seas and coastlines, raiding ships and towns alike, wearing the dark green heraldry that strikes fear into the hearts of sailors across the seas.     Many a sea captain have rode through a clear sea, only for the skies to suddenly turn dark and stormy; after a brief moment of anxious wait, a dark, metal-clad ship rises out from below the waves. On it's deck stands the black-armoured centurions of the Sundered, wielding swords and shields, with long, tattered green plumes upon their helms.
The boardings are always quick, and the terror imbued upon sight of them is often enough to force surrender from milder crews.
