Sibrandiel, The Holy Avenger

Sibrandiel, the Holy Avenger was born from the reclaimed cosmic shard of another deity, the Vortex Lord, who had their shard stolen from them long ago.
A lich, by the name of Abraham, attempted to become a deity by stealing a cosmic shard and rising to the Celestial Clocktower, however, he was ultimately thwarted by a group of heroes; one of which, a monumental called Mara, went on to create an order, pledged to preventing other acts of evil, as well as safeguarding the cosmic shard. They kept the relic locked away in secret for many years, though, unbeknownst to them, a new deity was forming from the unlinked shard.   One day, bursting out from the castle in fiery radiance, Sibrandiel made themself known; with a violent burst of purple light, the icon of a giant set of wings attached to a flaming scabbard was burned into the sky above its castle keep, announcing itself as Sibrandiel. Having developed amongst the Order of Embers, the deity shared the same ideology, 'Burn down the evil, and spring new life from its ashes'.
For many long years, Sibrandiel fought as the blade of Mara, striking fear into the hearts of evil-doers with its iconic appearance, and earning the title of Holy Avenger. However, when Mara eventually fell to the ravages of time and an heir was chosen, Sibrandiel did not join them. Instead, Sibrandiel slew the heir and disappeared, seemingly to find a master of it's own choosing.
  The current holder of Sibrandiel is unknown, but what is certain is that they will not keep their head bowed for long. Soon enough, the Holy Avenger will reveal itself once more.
