Cult of Plenty

There's enough for everyone, one way or the other.
  Also,
EAT THE RICH!
The Cult of Plenty is one of the oldest Cults still active, tracing a lineage that goes all the way back to the War of Plenty, and perhaps beyond. Most of their activities are charitable; they run shelters for the homeless, kitchens for the hungry, and schools for the disadvantaged. Since the birth of the Prosperity Engine and the art of Transformation, the needs that they service has changed somewhat, but their core message has not. There's enough for everyone, of everything, and damn you if you try to keep it for yourself. When the kitchens close, the Cult of Plenty work against those who hoard resources or amass wealth to what they consider an unethical degree.
Most of the time, this work is political and social. They organize unions and guilds, strike with workers, and educate the poor on the wrongs inflicted upon them by the rich. But when words fail and the gulf of inequality become an abyss that drowns all hope, they put down ladles and books to arm themselves. They become bandits, assassins, saboteurs, and instigators, much like they did during the War of Plenty. According to Cult lore, it was this inequality that doomed the old world, and they will not let it happen again.   The wealthy and powerful hate and fear the cult, but have lost the power to supress them. With the shackles of the old world gone, and the power of transformation spread wide, the Cult is too powerful to extinguish. Instead, the two sides are engaged in a constant push and pull that occasionally blossoms into open war. The Cult has significant presence in every major settlement and large town in the Engine, with itinerate preachers travelling the world to make sure that everyone has plenty.
