Alister was a human caravan guard turned necromancer and founder of the Seekers of the Eternal Hour.

Personal history
Alister was born to a non-fuedal contracted family somewhere in Acaron. Not much is known about his early life, but by the age of ten both of his parents had died from illness. He worked on a farm and saved what little coin he could, eventually moving to Hytheron in hopes of joining the Acaron military. He was rejected from service due to his poor shape and small phisique.
Alister married at the age of 17, but his wife died in childbirth just two years later, leaving him alone to fend for his infant daughter. Just a few months after being born, his daughter contracted phunomia and died that winter.
Alister, strucken by grief, couldn't stand to be in Hytheron anylonger and took a job as a caravan guard. During this time he was said to have been very quiet and someone who kept to himself.
Years passed and a more frail and tired Alister was on the verge of suicide, having suffered all his life. During a snowstorm his caravan was bogged down, and Alister finally cracked and wandered out into the snow alone in the middle of the night. His comrades assumed him dead and continued on with their journy a few days after the storm finally died down.
