King Martijn van Esjac

Founding

The founder and only King of Eshax, Martijn van Esjac created the kingdom of Esjac, named for his family. During a time of xenophobic strengthening of the Dulandir and Anorin, Martijn decreed his divine right to rule his countrymen and they to bow to his rule. To help protect his divine right and ensure peace in his land, the Knights of the Chain were created as the personal guardsmen. When the time of passing came for Martijn his son became crowned as the first Prince-King of Eshax; why this change in title occurred is only known in the annals of history and to the well-kept secret of the Chain.
