Stayz Glon
An interesting culture among the human ethnicities, the Turami humans learned much from the Sea Elves before the Great Sea Migration and made their culture similarly after them. Landing themselves at the southern tip of the Western Pangea, the Turami made a capital out of High Tide Port sometime in the late 1100s. This city-state of Stayz Glon was given the name after many Turami that live outside of High Tide Port because many that live on the mainland “keep to the glen” as there are mountains that protect its northern border. Incorporating many islands during the 1200s, Stayz Glon now encapsulates three islands, territory on the southern tip of the Western Pangea, and territory on the East Pangea that brushes against Strienia. There are hundreds of political affiliations of Stayz Glon, with each territory being its own City-State governed by a capital city and extending to each of its counties. The Turami are known for treating themselves as communes on their many islands, while High Tide Port is treated as a democracy on the mainland. In the Eastern Territories, many Rashemi settled into Stayz Glon as an act of sovereignty against the Mulan-Shou rivalry, forming their own City-States all across the Eastern Territories.
High Tide Port is currently under a legislature of philosophers that debate about laws and governance of the city and Stayz Glon greater. The Turami credit the founding of High Tide to ‘Opuni Iwalani, a great explorer of the Sea who found the valley and port of High Tide incredibly attractive. With a lack of record organization, there is not much history to Stayz Glon that is written down, with a distinct preference to oral history as dictated in long-winded lectures by philosophers across Stayz Glon. Notable exports of Stayz Glon are their explorers and boats as well as their Universities and philosophers.
