First Battle of Vulture Valley

The first battle of the Masked War, an attempted invasion of the home of several orc clans, the human invaders were unable to capture either major city within the valley for any prolonged period of time,  eventually left in defeat. Some consider it the end of UnMasked times, though that's not supported by religious doctrine.

The first of several attempts to destroy the descendant nation of orcs from the combined Claypaint, Clay Hand, Dirtmaul, and Clay Stone tribes. They had set up a nation within what has become Vulture Valley, living in the sides of the canyon in large cities, only accessible from thin, one man paths and climbing from the bottom, both of which are dangerous when orcs with large bows and arrows are firing at you from above/the other side. Much of the invading force was killed, including Princess Atora, who was related to the one who would become the first champion of the Lion Masked and the crown princess of their nations royal line, though what part she took in the battle is unknown. Whilst the human forces lost a large number of soldiers, it is unknown how many orcs were slain.
