Meepo the Kobold

So we encountered the other adventures that we had talked with during the feast captured by the assailants. We set about fighting the assailants after the Investigator Quinn had confused the hired mercenary about our motivations. We freed and armed them to increase our numbers for saving the Lady of the Manor House. The mercenary indicated a bounty was on the female mammal that offered the charters. The others wished to save the Lady; I wished to survive first and possibly save the Lady if possible. I being a feeble Kobold and rather ineffective in fighting may not be the best choice for a rescue.   We left the wing of the manor house that we were sleeping in and entered the Feast Hall held by the Lady's loyal retainers. Her Major Domo, told us that she had went into the other wing for important things. I think it was the stuff to support her title. So we left the Feast Hall and entered the other wing of the manor. The other groups that stayed the night in this wing were dead and the rooms set ablaze. We found out they were dead while checking for survivors and beings in need of rescue. Part of the party worked on putting out the room fires as Quinn and Pscilla Shroom bravely advanced forward with me following in their footsteps. So brave are they.

The party, that I travel with, was invited to attend an event by a minor noble for the chance to be granted a charter for land and a title. We attended a feast held for the event and we talked to the other hopefuls at our table. I talked to a lady of great poise and decorum, perhaps I didn't come across as plebian. I talked to Gnome bard and I think she was unimpressed, but Gnomes and Kobolds do have some issues to overcome. I talked to a pale Elven lady and maybe have made a potential ally or just of friendly terms. The only thing I did notice is the Stranger may have been engaged in the mammalian courting with the barbarian female. I am a little confused to who the Leshy and the investigator were talking to. The investigator says he's here to solve crimes but I get the feeling he has developed his knowledge by experience. I'm befuddled as to why the Leshy is traveling with us, since the usual adventurer motivations don't seem to fit. The Stranger may be wandering about doing things as he tries to remember where's home. I left Absolom with feeling that I needed new vistas to improve my health and well-being. Metal poisoning is lethal.   We were invited to spend the night at the Noble's estate to have early morning meeting concerning our charters. The first betrayal occurred that night as someone wanting to eliminate all competition staged a mass slaughter of all in the estate house. We were awoken and sallied forth from the room with murderous efficiency.   Be polite and allow adventures a chance to sleep, so they don't wake up homicidal.   We were progressing through the foes on the way to the feasting hall. I tried so contribute but my blows were weak and ineffective, however, I did not suffer any harm since the foes ignored my feebleness.
