Helvenic

Helvenic was the Human language of the Helvenic Empire, and is the language of most human nations of the Midlands, as well as Addam. The informal version of the language is often referred to as "Common". Regional variations and accents exist, and can at times make it so two common speakers from disparate areas can hardly communicate. For game play purposes they are the same language, but the DM is free to apply circumstance bonuses for very different accents. A character should make note of the national dialect of Common they speak.
