Taskmasters are the officers in the demonic legions. They control the other demons, and generally seem to prefer keeping their army between you and them. That doesn't mean they aren't killing your face at the same time, though.
Most taskmasters carry a spellcannon, and love dropping area-of-effect disintegrates. I saw footage of four Confederate Marines taking one...and there wasn't anything left.
If you do make it to melee you've got to contend with the claws, which slash through spellarmor like flea market hull plating. Get close, and end them quick.
Taskmaster Demons
Magnitude: 5
Brace: 2
Dodge: 5
Skepticism: 4
Initiative: 3
Movement: 12
HP: 120
Armor: 4
Resistance: 10 Void
Abilities
Voidball
Range: 30
Dice Pool: 15
Damage: 12 Void in a 6 radius
Defense: Brace
The Taskmaster's signature attack is lobbing voidballs from the safety of its lines. These are strategically placed to create gaps that bonecrushers can exploit.
This is also one more reason why I recommend getting in close. If you can reach melee, then the demon can't fire its cannon, and will be forces to use its claws.
Claw
Range: 2
Dice Pool: 15
Damage: 8 physical, 5 void, 3 AP
Defense: Brace
The taskmaster would prefer to avoid melee, but if you're in its face then it will claw you, and the experience doesn't sound very conducive to a long life. At least it doesn't hit your squad at the same time, like the voidball.
