Rachel Cohen
Rachel was in a car accident as a teenager, resulting in partial paralysis. Her boyfriend at the time was driving and died; his spirit attached to her and has continued to learn and change. He, and therefore she, has access to the vast storehouse of spirit knowledge, but he also forgets what biological imperatives are like, so he wanders in to share gossip at inopportune times. Complicating things further, Rachel discovered she's a lesbian, so he's the only guy she ever dated.
Rachel works for the Silvers and is referred to as Oracle. She's also their general IT person. She lives in Atlanta for the climate, and was in Rory's Spirit Scouts troop.
