Elf
The traditional elves, a la Tolkien. Tall, willowy, graceful, and beautiful, with pointed ears and extremely intricate hairstyles. Typically elves live in their own communities, away from corporations and technology; most elves do not recieve a soche when they're born, as their births are not recorded by any entity that can assign a soche. They are long-lived and slow aging; elves born at the shattering are only now reaching full adulthood.
Elves tend to be a bit standoffish, and some would call them arrogant. Occupations are often in handcrafting, of which skills they are justifiably proud. Patient and, in many cases, plodding, they can focus on the intricate details of their craft for hours, resulting in furniture, clothing, and other handicrafts that are highly sought-after for their beauty and durability. It has been said that their motto is, "Measure fifteen times, cut once."
