Yl'kara, the Keeper of the First Well
A loyal Archaist and a former guardian of one of the purest sources of Zhak'raa's current. When the Tempest War began, she sealed herself and the well away to protect it from the warring factions. In her thousands of years of isolation, her body has become one with the cavern, her skin like smooth stone and her limbs fused with roots. She is not aggressive but will engage anyone who enters her domain, believing them to be agents of the White or Black Orders who seek to corrupt her sacred charge. Her combat style is a fluid, defensive dance, using pure, uncorrupted magic to protect her well while a low, sorrowful hum resonates throughout the cavern. Her defeat is not a triumph of good over evil, but the freeing of a soul from an eternal, self-imposed duty.
