Spires of Silence

From a distance, a dark silhouette is seen against the sky, crooked and leaning, yet still impossibly tall. Scattered across the land are the great towers of the archomancers, dark, silent monuments, defying time and decay. Up close, one may spy runes scrawled across the stone, whispering when touched. They are magical instruments and their very existence corrupts the land around them.   Once the seats of power for master Archomancers, each Spire was built as both a residence and a ritual engine. Their geometry, enchantments, and construction were all designed to resonate with the Primordial Current.   After the Annihilation, they did not crumble entirely. Their wards, seals, and strange geometries kept them standing, but twisted their purpose: they became mute monuments, leaking warped Zhak’raa into the land.   Their “silence” is not peaceful — it is oppressive, heavy, like the world itself is holding its breath. No birds, no wind, no echo — only stillness.

"Even in ruin, the Archomancers speak louder in silence than the living ever dared."
