Geometrists

The mountain kingdom of Isturoth is experiencing an unprecedented boom in technology, innovation and culture. Among the Isturian people, there is a subculture furthering this movement, predominantly among the Širan (nobility). Also called Symmetrists, this group encompass people from all walks of life and all professions that are dedicated to the philosophy of Sacred Geometry.   Chief among these are artists, architects, designers, tailors, tinkerers, metallurgists (including smiths and engineers) and anyone else who has a strong influence on cultural aesthetics. The prime messaging evolves around progress, prosperity, style-over-substance, innovation and a golden age for everyone.

Shared customary codes and values

Sacred geometry preaches the value of geometric and "futuristic" design. Straight lines and geometric shapes have an innate strength and progressiveness to them that can be conveyed in a variety of mediums. Whatever the geometrist's line of work, the core values of the philosphy can be applied. With this though, are the ideas of decadence and even hedonism, baseless and limitless optimism. The aim is to inspire a sense of awe in any who view the work.

Common Dress code

Useful clothes are a thing of the past in this new age, as tailors and dressmakers embrace all manner of new and strange accessories. Pointless gems and feathers adorn every article of clothing and jewellers are struggling trying to keep up with emerging trends.

Art & Architecture

Before this new age, Isturian architecture was square and simple. It was functional and lacked any substantial amount of flair. This new movement has inspired designers to go bigger and bolder than ever before, indulging in opulence and sophistocation. Elegance and style have taken root in the art and architecture of Isturoth's people, and are too popular to be easily discarded.
The symbol of the Geometrist movement, often worn as a brooch or pin.
