Ember Veils

This creature is not a being of flesh or bone, but a collection of smoldering embers and wisps of dissipating smoke animated by the lingering magic of the Kahet school of magic (Zhak'raa). An Ember Veil appears to be a harmless wisp of smoke at first, gently floating through the air. However, if disturbed, it rapidly expands into a large, humanoid form made of ash and glowing embers, concealing its fragile, tiny core within. Its movements are silent and ethereal, but its attacks are a physical manifestation of its burning form, searing anyone who comes too close. The key to defeating it is not to attack the imposing form of smoke and embers, but to find an opening to strike at the small, flickering core hidden within.
