Asclepius

At the conclusion of Ambermantle's Enigma, Yilani Deniz wished to honor her friends and the good-deeds they had done by putting the considerable wealth she had gained to good use. She began by reaching out to like-minded individuals to help those had suffered under the clockwork invasion. Aid-givers were donned with a green jacket, and the work began. Damaged homes were rebuilt, rooms were rented out for free from Trollskull Alley while construction was done, food was imported and many began to respect the green-clad folk and the help they were giving. It was then that it became official, and the humanitarian group named "Asclepius" was formed. The organization calls Revelmoore their home, but have begun to expand to many other coastal cities in the Gulf of Akados.   Asclepius focus is on helping those who have been displaced or harmed by major tragedies, calamities and wars, providing supplies, food, shelter and even martial aid to defend the innocent. While they do not get involved in political disputes, the group sends out peacekeepers to try and negotiate the fair treatment of prisoners and care for civilians displaced by the wars and battles that often come from them.   The groups primary income has been from donations. Those who have been helped or apprenticed by the group are often willing to donate some adventuring proceeds to them or just their time, and some cities have offered tax funds because of the good works they do.   While Asclepius is often reactive, some of the groups funds has been used to fund adventurers who pro-actively investigate possible disasters before they unfold and attempt to evacuate, or stop them before they happen.   Yilani now frequents many cities, but she always returns to her humble beginnings at Revelmoore and Trollskull Alley. She enjoys giving Puzzle tales from afar, giving bobbles and trinkets to the Ratcatchers, and catching up with her old friends on the lives they have lived while she was absent. While content for now, Yilanis long-term goal is to leave Asclepius self-sufficient, and one day return to the wilderness to live out the rest of her days in peace.
