After the rest, the group continued on to the final destination. In front of them stood a monstrous structure, made of black basalt and towering over the area stood a huge fortress in the shape of a wolf. In the entrance was a small camp of Hobgoblins. With Hilda distracting them, the group began an assault and struck them down, but not before they could alert their allies.   Despite it being hidden behind a trapped sigil written in dwarvish, the group solved the minor puzzle and trap and ventured forth. Not far from the entry a small group of zombie dire wolves attacked but were easily dispatched, with the group arriving at an entry hall. Hobgoblins had been alerted and prepared an ambush, launching a well organized assault on the group. Thankfully the partys strength allowed them to overcome the zealot cleric of Tiamat and her minions, and the group struck their foes down and began to loot the rooms they had been staying in.   Paperwork was found detailing their insidious plans, confirming the groups suspicions. It turned out they had stolen the Ghostlords Phylactery and hidden it in their dragon allies horde, something Theta now possessed. They were blackmailing the Liche into creating a small army of some mysterious undead for the Hand of Doom to command.   With this new information, the group contemplated their next actions before venturing deeper into the Ghostlords Lair.
