While the armory was secure, Leia had gotten herself trapped in the main center stronghold with the doors barred by duergar. Neris used her flight to harry the Duergar inside with attacks, while Leia did her best to fend them off. Thankfully with the Drow wizards aid, Shane transformed into a gigantic cave bear and tore the iron door off its hinges. Shane and The Finest Boy tore through the narrow passageways from the south to the relief of Leia, and the group celebrated their victory.   After taking all the items of interest from the building, the group found a map of the region made by the duergar and began to discuss their route. The Deep Gnomes felt their elders may know a route to the surface, but they were under attack by some monstrosity and hoped the adventurers would aid them. The drow decided to return to their home, with the promise of migrating their people to Granital and hoping to meet up with Neris later to learn of any surface connections.   After clearing up a few loose ends and gathering the Bayou elf who was hiding in the pool, the groups split ways and Neris, Leia, Shane and the Finest Boy began their journey to the deep gnome home of Zanzarite.
