With the fight begun, the group frantically hurried towards the armory to use it as a defensive position against the coming defenses. After the drow wizard ally Faesandra ventilated it with Cloudkill, the doorway was open and the remaining guards dispatched, everyone piled in and begun to collect their weapons and arms. The duergar defenses responded quickly, with two of their leaders and an invisible cadre of troops as well as the Stone Golem closing in rapidly. With a strong defensive position, plenty of attacks and the drows potent magic, the battle raged on but quickly began to turn in the tide of the group.   Neris used her flight to go above the enemy, harrying them with staff attacks as well as blasts of radiant energy. Using Lelees companion, the flumph Sillifrey, the kobold known as The Finest Boy lept onto both the Golem and Leader, taking them both out with a harry of well placed attacks. Using the armory as a defensive position, Shane led the remainder against the duergar who tried to assault them as well as taking out multiple strong combatants from the arrow slits. Leia used her invisibility as well as ability to see invisibility to harry the Duergar and sneak into the central command center. From here Leia took out one, and began to assault the duergar from the inside.   Finally after defeating most of the outside enemies, The Finest Boy tried to break into the main building but struggled against the door.
