With the blood of the Orog spilling upon the infernal summoning circle, the ritual was complete and a Barbed devil, accompanied by four spined devils, came forth! Valerie, having exemplified her deities ideals called upon her radiant soul and used her new powers to smite the devils. From afar Shane whittled down the airborne devils while Nyx took some shots at close range. The devils quickly realized Valeries plate was near impossible to breach, so they suddenly switched to Nyx and dealt a series of nasty blows. Thankfully the group prevailed, and cast the devils back into the nine hells.   With the foes defeated the group interrogated one of the orc prisoners, learning that the Eternal Flame was handed off to the dragon that Valerie and Shane had previously fought. The orc deserters now served this foe, who had taken it somewhere deep within the mountain.   Afterwards, the group investigated the ruin and noticed it contained some sigils to Narrah the moon goddess. It had three interesting viewpoints, holes that looked at various landmarks. One was the mountain they were trekking towards and their likely destination, another was Famrial mountain, the location of the ruins of Whiteridge and the old dwarven tomb they had previously been to. The last was a mysterious spot in the White Wolf Timberland, barely visible was an enormous black spot that lie deep within.   Needing a rest, the group and their Flame Keeper Orc companions set up a small camp. They decided to stay behind and wait while the group set off on the final leg of the journey.
