After a brief discussion with Ushat, Valerie continued her attempts to help the chief. She tried to cast detect evil and detect magic to see if anything nefarious was happening, but unfortunately nothing was found. With no new information, the group went outside to meet with her mother, Batul the High Shaman of the Stormcaller Orcs. She was in front of the mighty Anvil of Storms, attempting to call upon a strange outcropping up high for power. As their chant continued, lightning began to come off it but they seemed to lose control. A powerful electrically charged storm was summoned, and blew away from the village, giving some idea as to what the mysterious weather was that plagued the region.   Once over, the group met with Batul. It turned out that Xunug had been getting progressively more sick since around the time that the Eternal Flame was stolen, but the group was unsure as to the relation. Batul asked Valerie the meaning of her shields symbol as like her daughter, she had seen it on the door into the mountain. The orc shaman agreed to let the group examine it given the dire situation they were in, and everyone proceeded forward.   Here the group find more writing in High boros, and in a spark of brilliance Valerie realized that the script was the same as common, so she used Tongues to read it out loud so she could understand it. With that she learned that the Standing Stones contained brief prayers regarding the six virtues of Solanus, and the door said that one of Hyperborean descent should read aloud the six virtues and it would open.   With the words said, the way forward was revealed and the group stepped forth. Here they were met by a mysterious apparition that said to continue on, they would need to solve the trials. In each of the rooms there was a separate trial, and one by one the party showed their benevolence and worthiness and completed them one by one.
