04 - 02/03/25 : Blooming Flowers

The battle betweem the students and the corrupted Thornwalkers continued, with the students holding on as best they could. The the tides began to turn as Nessali took control of the leyline, giving the mages the second wind they needed to claim victory. With the woods now calm once again, the part decided to in the forest for the night after their long battle. The next day, they returned to Alaric's Landing, expecting a reward for their valiant efforts. While the village was grateful to the trio, the lengthy attacks left the resources sparce. The village elder, Elara, asked where to reach the party and promised to send reward once the village was back on its feet. In apology, Elara offered them an alchemy jug she had acquired as partial thanks until then.   Using the Scrolls of Recall, the students returned to Fortune's Crossing, and Nessali informed Arwyn about the ley line and their adventure to reach it. Meanwhile, Snow and Ezri visited the Queen's Glaive to offer the alchemy jug to Urshar in exchange for free food and drink when they visit. She agreed, with the alchemy jug likely to offset the costs of feeding two people easily enough.   While speaking with Urshar, an unfamiliar Triton entered the tavern, bringing a fresh catch in. He introduced himself to the students as Lochlainn, another Everlight student. He had come from Revelmoore to study magic after having been rejected as a student of the High Dragon. He discussed the odd political structure of the town, with each citizen being able to vote individually on matters of importance.   The duo decided to end the night by visiting the Gilded Mask theater, which was showing a theatrical version of Revelmoore's Dragon Heist. While waiting for the show to begin, the students met Xiuying, the last of the Everlight students, in the lounge. The curious bard had traveled from Xha'en, believing that this small, burgeoning town might be the center of some interesting tales to tell. While he was asked the new mages in town about themselves, Ezri mumbled something about an "LK," but before more could be asked, the play was beginning. Ezri and Snow enjoyed the show before turning in for the day.
Ezri Flickerwick - A gnome sorceror with wild, untamed magic. She seeks control of both her own magic as well as the power gained from a mysterious source. She has no ambitions for greatness and just wants to control her magic to live a normal life.
Snow - A tiefling with a history of martial combat. She started to develop a natural skill for magic and now seeks to master this ability as she does with the weapons she wields.
Nessali - A yuan-ti druid whose power and ego are very highly developed for their age.
Arwyn Halliwell - A human wizard studying Ley Lines at Everlight. He was chosen to be the headmaster, mostly because he was the only one willing to put in work to organize the school.
Urshar Frostbrand - The dwarf proprietor of the Queen's Glaive tavern. She may or may not be a pirate, who's to say?
Lochlainn - A triton druid from Revelmoore seeking to prove his magic's worth. He's quite serious and down to earth, and quite interested in Fortune's Crossing's politics.
Xiuying - A half-dragonborn bard who came from Zha'en seeking adventure and tales worth telling. They're very curious about their fellow students and not afraid to pry.
