Warps
"The Future of Transportation!"
"Warps" are a broad term that describes any kind of transportation that allows someone to instantly travel across space, time or dimensions. The most common form of warps are portals, gateways, or tears that bend either space, time, or dimensions to create an entrance and exit between the two planes. Other methods of warping exist, however, including deconstruction/reconstruction, and clipping. Many different species, organisations, people and gods have access to warps, be it through technology, magic, biology or sheer strength.
Space Warps
Space warps are seen as the simplest form of warp, only bending space. Depending on the power of the technology or magic used, they can transport millions of people across entire galaxies, or just one person about 2 metres. These warps are also sometimes referred to as portals, teleportation, wormholes, tunnels, stargates or Kwik-n-Eezy Space Highways!™. Used very commonly across the multiverse by people from all walks of life. Their look also depends on who's creating them; from bubbling crimson pools made by demons to a magician's puff of smoke or the iconic circular blue portal of the Space Police that criminals know all too well.Used by:

Time Warps
(It's just a jump to the left)Time warps are a versatile tool that allows people to manipulate time in different ways. The most basic form of time warp simply allows someone to travel forwards or backwards in time by bending time and creating a wormhole. Using less refined technology or magic, time travel can become taxing on the body, requiring multiple trips and rests to get to your destination year. Time warps can be altered, allowing for the creation of time loops, skips, freezes and slows. Their look also depends on who's creating them; from a sparking portal made by a mad scientist to a powerful wizard snapping his fingers, or the iconic triangular yellow portal of the Time Police, who watch over timestreams for paradoxes and unauthorised interference.

Dimensional Warps
Dimensional warps are the most powerful type of warp, bending the fabric of the multiverse to a user's will. By bending two separate dimensions closer together and creating a wormhole, it allows for easy and direct access to the multiverse. These warps can also be manipulated to create pocket dimensions, which are tiny dimensions stored inside an object. With sufficient power, a dimensional warp could even break into another multiverse - such as when Strike opened a rift to the Tainted Hub while in their Verum form. Their look also depends on who's creating them; a tear in reality made by an unstable ancient artefact, a swirling purple portal leading to a yet unknown dimension, or the iconic rectangular red portals of the Dimensional Police, detested by Strike and Bucket.Used by:

Rifts
Rifts are a special type of dimensional warp, originating from dimension #1301 - Dawn's Crown. They function the same as dimensional warps but instead use Dawn's Crown as a "back alley" way to travel the multiverse. Anyone who goes through a rift must pass through Dawn's Crown as basically a proxy, making it much harder for an organisation like the DPD to track rift users. For a long time, Dawn's Crown was known as the Rift Dimension, though it became unstable and started creating random rifts all across the multiverse. However, in 5 AH, Bucket restructured the dimension, turning it into what it is today.Used by:

Crystal Rifts
Crystal rifts are a special subset of rifts, being a combination of rifts from #1301 and reinforced by the crystals of [UNAVAILABLE]. They appear as pink hexagonal crystalline mirrors. They have all the functionalities of a regular rift, but with a few added benefits. Crystal rifts can deny specific things from going through them, reflecting attacks or working as a shield. There are only 2 known crystal rift users known in the multiverse.Used by:
Bucket, Tainted Bucket
Sock Warps
Sock warps are a theoretical dimensional phenomenon used to explain the sudden disappearances of clothing items, most commonly socks. Although never observed, these warps seem to transport their target from one dimension to another, and as a result, finding a sock somewhere - even in the most remote dimension - should not be unexpected. The origin and reason for these unique warps is still unknown, but heavily researched by worried sock-wearers. Xalganax was once mistaken for a very large sock and transported to the Hadal Zone by one.Clipping
Clipping is another form of interdimensional travel very similar to warps. It involves the user phasing their body through dimensional walls and navigating themself towards where they want to go. Used by:Foxo, Wabbit
